While our programs center on uplifting Black girls—who are historically underrepresented in STEM—we welcome girls of all backgrounds who share our mission of learning, innovation, and community. BGDE prioritizes respect, belonging, and access, ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed in STEM.
Black Boys Do Engineer is a complementary initiative developed by Black Girls Do Engineer (BGDE) to support Black boys in building foundational STEM skills, confidence, and exposure to engineering and technology careers.
